You can earn college credit for the IB exams listed in this table on which you score a 4 or higher. Students who completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme shall, at a minimum, receive 24 semester credits, for IB exams administered as part of the Diploma Programme on which the student received a score of 4 or higher.
Students who attain an IB Diploma must be awarded six (6) lower division course credits for a score of four (4) or higher on each Higher Level IB examination and two (2) lower division course credits for a score of four (4) or higher on each Standard Level IB examination. Students who do not earn an IB Diploma can still be awarded college credit for courses with a score of four or higher.
All public colleges and universities grant at least 24 credit hours to entering students who have obtained the IB Diploma and received scores of at least 4 on all IB examinations.
Each state university awards credit for all IB Diploma Programme exam scores of 4 or higher.
